I feel in love with Echo Park with this kit, their papers are so whimsical and fun!  I love the stickers and chipboard shapes, I really had so much fun with this line.

Amazing...

Here is some fun I had with some leftovers of my Boys Rule kit!  The echo park Paper featured in this kit was really fun to work with and great for boys!

The view finder is pretty awesome!

What can you do with leftovers?

I had a ton of scraps leftover form the Boys Rule May kit.  I decided to make something fun for my son who needed a lil'bit of encouragement to want to do homework!  I enjoyed working on the Boys Rule kit as a Guest Designer the gals over there are very talented bunch and have a great line of stuff for boys!  Be sure to check them out.

I pasted the snips of paper onto the wooden pencil holder from the dollar store with deco-page and sponge brush.  Once all the pieces were in place I covered the whole thing with deco-page for protection....this was going to belong to a 7 year old right!

Then I added some boy-bling and a little love note! So muchy Mom!

Carter said "Wow Mom thanks, now I can do homework in my room at my desk"  he was very excited to hopefully my little plan worked!  and it looks cute too!

Sweet design for Challenge #4

I really loved this colour palette.  I had the perfect photos from our strawberry picking adventure last summer to put with it.  Check out the other design teams work at http://www.color-me-scrappy.blogspot.ca/ this challenge due date is May 31st, and the prize to win is so lovely, be sure to click the link above and check it out and play along!  

I used Echo Park This & That it has such great summer colours! I added a small slice of Authentique, some Basic Grey stickers, BoBunny brads and Close to My Heat acrylic stamps and ink

I picked up these banners at scrapfest in Kitchener in April and sprayed them with ink, they curled up a bit so I had to tug on them a bit but I love the weathered look as well.

Also found this canvas flower and prayed it too, so cute!

The Big Game!

I was invited to Guest Design for BoysRule Scrapbook Kits for the month of May and I just love the kit, It features Echo Park This&That for Boys (the full kit) including two sheets of stickers and a number of fun extras, including designer tape, bakers twine, a ton of co-ordinating buttons, a zipper vinyl stars and some other crazy goodies.
